Ceramic painting is a really fun and creative activity to do with the little ones. While away a few hours during a school holiday or weekend by creating unique hand painted mugs that you will keep for years to come as a special memory of your children's creativity. This painting kit is recommended for children over 3 years old
Mug Painting Instructions
- Take your mug and give it a thorough wash and dry before you start decorating it.
- Clean an area for you to work on, a flat surface and adequate lighting is advisable. Ensure that your work surface is covered with a cloth or old papers and make sure you wear some old clothes.
- Choose your design and paint with your selected colours. Remember, that if you make a mistake you can wipe it off with the aid of a damp cloth. You are the artist so feel free to put in as many 'Art Attack' shapes on the mug as you like and remember to experiment with colours.
- Feel free to use the guide to create your own individual, or matching, mugs. You can use a combination of different designs together, along with those included also, if you wish.
- These kits are child safe however we do advise that you paint lower than 0.5cm below the rim of the mug and, do not paint in areas of the mug where drink is likely to come in contact, such as inside the mug. We recommend you hand wash the mug in warm soapy water.
