So, what is an embellishment? Well it is, in its simplest form, a decoration! These adornments come in all shapes and sizes, and their use is only limited by your imagination.

History & Memory Decorations

Embellishments are the elements of your scrapbook layout that brings the photo and story to life. They transform a photo into a living memory, complimenting the mood and tone of your photos. Embellishments can be bought (with plenty to choose from) or made. Tickets, old jewellery, foreign currency even receipts can be used as embellishments and add depth to your story.

Embellish Card Designs

Scrapbooking embellishments can also be used in cardmaking and papercrafting projects too. There is a great deal of overlap between these crafts as many of the products and techniques are common to all. When using an embellishment that goes through the paper or card be aware that you will need to hide the not-so-glamorous back!
