Brads, Snaps & Eyelets
These little accessories are both functional and decorative. They can be used to hold pieces of paper together, attach elements such as tags and charms or even be used as embellishments in their own right, available in many different colours, shapes, sizes and designs. They are especially useful for fixing vellum when the glue cannot be hidden.
Fastening Paper Together
Brads are good old fashioned paper fasteners with a twist! Simply make a small hole in the paper or card using the tip of a craft knife or paper piercer, push the brad through and open out the wings on the reverse. It is as simple as that!
Easy Eyelet Crafting
Eyelets and snaps are easy to use, too. Use a hole punch to make a hole in every layer the eyelet will pass through, slip the eyelet or snap through from the front to the back and turn over, taking care to keep everything together. Finish by flattening the back of the eyelet or snap with an eyelet setter to hold it securely in place.
