Paper & Card
An essential part of any child's crafting stash. They can cut it, draw on it, stick it, colour it, paint on it; they are only limited by their imagination. Whether used on its own or with other crafting materials, plain or coloured paper and card gives children an excellent base for their mini works of art.
Tissue Paper Painting
Why not add texture to art and craft projects with tissue paper, corrugated card and sugar paper. Cut or tear to size and stick with child-safe glue. Tissue paper can also be used for 'painting'. Just apply plain water to heavy-weight paper with a paint brush, lay on pieces of coloured, non-colourfast tissue paper onto the paper and apply a little more water if necessary. Allow the tissue paper to dry before removing to reveal your picture.
